- Go to the conducting body, College Board’s official website, http://www.collegeboard.org, and then create your own account.
- After creating this account successfully, provide all your personal information likewise.
- Create your student profile thereafter. Provide details of your high school, academic information and information pertaining to extracurricular activities.
- Give college-level information including the type of college, majors, size of college and so on.
- Choose your test date and the center for the test.
- Upload a picture thereafter.
- Pay the test fee with PayPal or a credit card.
Register by Mail
You can also register via mail although you will require The Student Registration Guide for the SAT exam, and this is readily available at several institutions. The guide includes a return envelope and form for registration. The form should be sent along with a demand draft. USIEF (United States-India Educational Foundation) is the local SAT representative in India and the mailed forms will be dispatched to their regional office.

Registering with Accommodations - Differently-abled students can register for SAT through this option if they have a documented disability or condition that impairs SAT taking ability. If you need testing accommodations for the SAT exam, you must get College Board approval before you register.
Sunday Testing - Sunday testing is not available in India or Pakistan.
Registration of students under 13- A parent or guardian will need to complete and submit the Account Creation Consent form for candidates under 13 year of age.

The SAT registration fee is $55, plus the regional fee which is $49 for India. For SAT fee registration waivers, income-eligible students who live in India and are in Class XI or XII can apply for discount vouchers that will save them up to 90% on SAT registration fees. Those with annual family income less than ₹8 lakh are eligible for 90% registration fee waiver while those with annual family income between ₹8 lakh and ₹15 lakh are eligible for 50% discount.
