What is TSCAB? The full form of TSCAB is Telangana State Co-operative Apex Bank. The Andhra Pradesh State Co-operative Bank Limited (APCOB), with its head office in Hyderabad, was created in 1963 by the merger of The Hyderabad Co-operative Apex Bank Limited, Hyderabad, and The Andhra State Co-operative Bank Limited.
Following the government's decision to establish a Single Window Credit Delivery System, which would allow a single agency to provide both production and investment credit for agriculture, the Andhra Pradesh Co-operative Central Agricultural Development Bank Limited (APCCADB), which was meeting the state of Andhra Pradesh's needs for long term investment credit, merged with the APCOB in 1994 to provide both Short Term and Long Term credit through the APCOB / PACS / DCCBs.
Telangana State Co-operative Apex Bank Limited (Apex Bank) and the residual APCOB, which serve the needs of Telangana and the remaining portion of Andhra Pradesh, respectively, are the two state co-operative banks that resulted from the 2014 reorganization of the State of Andhra Pradesh and the creation of the new State of Telangana. Each of the two SCBs began operating on its own on April 2, 2015.
Under the State Cooperative Societies Act, Telangana State Co-operative Apex Bank Limited, Hyderabad, was registered on March 26, 2015 (Registration No. TAB.321), and it began operations on April 2, 2015.

TSCAB was established to support the expansion and development of the cooperative sector in the state of Telangana and to offer a unified forum for the cooperative movement within the state. The capital city of Telangana, Hyderabad, serves as the home base for TSCAB, which operates a network of branches all across the state.
