What is AMIE? The full form of AMIE is Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers.
A professional certification offered by the Institution of Engineers (India) is called AMIE. One of the IE membership classifications is MIE (I).
The AMIE degree is considered equivalent to an engineering degree from any university that is a member of the Association of Universities in India, either a BE or a B.Tech.
The primary benefit of an AMIE degree is that it may be obtained by those who wish to continue an academic career but are now employed in industrial organizations. To obtain the qualification, one must successfully complete the institution's Section A, Project Work, and Section B exams.
AMIE offers tests and training at many branches.
The Eligibility Criteria for AMIE
- The AMIE Full Form is available to candidates who possess a 3-year Polytechnic Diploma in any field of engineering or its equivalent. Score limitations won't apply to the admissions procedure.
- To sit for this test, candidates must have at least 45% in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as their major courses.
- Candidates who meet any of the aforementioned training requirements are also eligible to take part in the AMIE.
- To be eligible for the MAIE course, candidates must pass the qualifying test with a minimum score of 45%.
- It is necessary to have a qualification in English and to have a minimum of 45% overall in chemistry, physics, and mathematics.
- In order to be considered for selection, individuals should be at least eighteen years old.
- In order for them to work as a corporate member, they must be engineers by profession.
- They must pass an engineering diploma test or have an equivalent credential that has been accepted by an organization.
