EWU Student Life aims to inspire and equip EWU students to achieve their academic and personal objectives. More than 150 clubs and organizations are available for students to join, including ones for improv, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Willow Springs literary magazine, and archery. Students can go whitewater rafting, canoeing, fishing, backpacking, hiking, ice climbing, snowboarding, or cross-country skiing with EWU's outdoor program. EPIC Adventures is more of a way of life than it is a sport. 

Each quarter, thousands of students participate in on-campus activities. Renting equipment, hiring a personal trainer, engaging in intramural or club sports, or going ice skating or rock climbing are all options. Everything is open to you.

For undergraduates and graduates, the required application cost to be deposited at the time of admission is 60 and 75 USD, respectively. Different application deadlines apply to the Fall and Summer semesters of university admissions. For international undergraduate applications, the deadline is typically one month before the start of the term. A fresh application must be made for a different term if the application is received after that deadline. Undergraduate applicants can submit their applications using the university's online admissions site. Graduate applicants can access a different online admissions portal.

The institution provides admission to a wide range of courses for international students throughout its two intakes in the fall and spring. One month before the start of the course, students seeking international scholar programs must submit their applications. In the event of failure, applicants are required to reapply and pay a fresh application fee.
