Exam Requirement for Tarleton State University

To get into Tarleton, the Applicant should meet the following  exam requirements:

• Official SAT and ACT Scores are required for the admission process. These Scores are directly sent to the University from the testing agency. The Average ACT Score required is 20.
• Official AP Test Scores must be sent from the College Board of Evaluation.
• The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Score is required for Students to begin the first semester classes. 
• CLEP Scores are required for submission.
• SAT - The Average SAT Score needed is 1030
• TOEFL IBT - minimum overall score of 69 for Undergraduate studies and 80 for Postgraduate studies
• TOEFL PBT - minimum overall score of 520 for Undergraduate studies
• TOEFL Computerized - minimum score of 193 for Undergraduate courses 
• IELTS - overall score of 6.0 required for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.
• PTE - minimum score of 50 for Undergraduate studies and 53 for Postgraduate studies.
