ACT (American College Testing) Resources

ACT® (American College Testing)

ACT helps students prove what they learned throughout high school and their readiness to enter college. The ACT scores help reach admission decisions as that is a common data point on which all colleges and universities can compare the applicants. The ACT is managed by the ACT, a non-profit organization of the same name. It consists of five sections - English, Mathematics, Reading, Science, and an optional Writing test. Apart from writing, the rest of the sections are multiple-choice tests, and the score range is 1-36. The total score is an average of the individual scores received in the four sections, rounded off to the nearest whole number, and the score is valid for five years.
