Nearly 691 international student graduates, who had submitted their profiles in Ontario’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system, have been invited by the province to apply for a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
Along with 627 international student graduates eligible for the Masters Graduate stream, the province’s economic immigration program, Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), issued an invitation to 64 more students to apply for the PhD Graduate stream on September 14.
Score requirement of each stream that applies for PNP varies. While Masters Graduate stream, this time, was required to score a minimum of 35 points, PhD Graduates were required to score at least 16.
This third Master’s Graduate stream draw is the largest draw in the category since the inception of the EOI system for PNPs. This is the second draw for the PhD Graduate stream.
Going by the numbers till date, it can be observed that Master’s Graduate draws are usually larger with a higher score requirement. This could be because of the large number of qualified applicants who submit their profiles in the EOI system.
