The University of West Florida (UWF), located in Pensacola, Florida, is a public university. The University of West Florida, a member of the State University System of Florida, was founded in 1963 as a comprehensive research university without a faculty of law or medicine. It is classified as a space-grant institution and is located on the third-largest campus in the system, spanning 1,600 acres (650 ha).
The 1600-acre campus of UWF is situated on the Escambia River in Pensacola, Florida, close to several other popular beaches in the area. In all, there are about 13,000 students, comprising roughly 3,071 graduate students and 9,571 undergraduate students. Village East and Village West Apartments are the two apartments at UWF, in addition to the five residence halls. The WFHPI arrangement allows graduate students to live off-campus either at Quina Singh House or at McVoy House in Pensacola Village.
More than 55 undergraduate, 32 graduate, one specialist, and three doctorate degrees are available at UWF. The university offers courses in business, engineering, education, humanities, science, and healthcare. The best MBA programs are the Master's in Entrepreneurship and Business Analytics at UWF. Additionally, UWF offers one of the most affordable online programs in Leadership and Education for administrative roles.
