Students willing to study abroad must be aware of the Iowa State University out-of-state scholarships, domestic scholarships and international scholarships for undergraduate students.
The National Merit Scholarship Corporation will designate Iowa citizens as National Merit Scholars, and these individuals will be eligible to receive a Iowa State University full scholarship for a total of four years (eight semesters) of undergraduate study. In order for this grant to be renewed, the student must continue to be a resident of Iowa, be enrolled full-time at Iowa State University, be in good academic standing, and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00. This award is not accessible during the summer session; it is only offered during fall and spring semesters. The Office of Admissions does not grant additional merit prizes, such as the Loyal Scholar, Forever Scholar, and True Scholar for Iowa students, to students who obtain the full tuition scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria for Iowa State University Scholarship
