Acceptance Rate

The admissions committee at ECPI University is less selective, with a fall 2021 acceptance rate of 82%. The GPA scores of the applicants are considered during admission. 

Admission eligibility criteria 

• The undergraduate applicants must be able to score at least 61 in Internet-Based TOEFL (iBT), and for graduates, the minimum requirement is 79. 
• The undergraduate candidates must score 500 in written TOEFL, and for graduates, the minimum requirement is 550. The minimum IELTS band requirement for undergraduates is 6.0, and for graduates, it is 6.5. 
• The Pearson PTE Academic score of the applicants must be at least 48 for undergraduates, and for graduates, it must be at least 54. 
• The undergraduate minimum requirement for iTEP (International Test for English Proficiency) is 3.6, and the graduate minimum requirement for the same is 3.9. 
• The average SAT requirements for graduates are 440, and the average ACT requirement is 20. 

Documents required 

• The International Student Application Attested Form of the ECPI University must be signed and completed by the applicants. 
• The applicants must submit the official transcripts of the previous college or high school attended. 
• The student affidavit of financial support must be submitted by the applicants, and the scanned copies of official and original financial statements must be submitted to the University. 
• A copy of the passport must be submitted by the applicant. 
• The applicant must submit a proof of Health Insurance to the University. 
• A statement of purpose must be submitted by the applicants. 
• The applicants must provide letters of recommendation to the University. 
• The applicants must submit their resume/CV.

The applicants are evaluated entirely on the basis of their High School performance, and therefore, it is important for the candidates to meet the GPA requirements of the University. However, the candidates are also evaluated on the basis of their English Language Proficiency Tests.
