About the University

Liverpool John Moore’s College, a public examination establishment, was established in 1823. It ranks at #801-100 in the QS World University Ranking for 2023 and at #401-500 in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings for 2023. It is also ranked at #492 in the U.S. News rankings for 2022.  

The institution’s earlier name was the Liverpool Mechanics' Institute of Expressions. As a result, the facility was distinct from Liverpool Polytechnic. The facility received college status in 1992 and changed its name to the Liverpool John Moore’s College. Undergraduate and graduate programs at Liverpool John Moore’s College offer 27 subjects in full-time, part-time, and online formats. Among eligible students, apprenticeships are also an option. The university has three campuses. The Mount Wonderful Campus offers two fields of study: Business and Regulation and Expressions, as well as Professional and Social Investigations. The three disciplines at the City Grounds are wellness, science, engineering, and technology.

The university has a good employability ranking; since 96% of LJMU postgraduate students are employed or pursue further education 15 months after graduating (Graduate Result Study 2020). Additionally, LJMU provides services to students looking to improve their employment prospects.
