• Candidates must have received and accepted an offer of admission to Lancaster University for October 2024, either unconditional or conditional.
• Applicants that are fully sponsored are not eligible for this grant.
• Applicants who receive less than 50% of their fees from their funding source may be eligible for this scholarship.
• For the course of their studies, awardees must be considered overseas or international students who are paying tuition fees. Should you receive the scholarship and then have your status changed to "Home" fee-paying, you will no longer be qualified for the scholarship.
• Students on the Pathway who advance from INTO Lancaster University are qualified to apply for the Global Scholarship.

2. Lancaster Sanctuary Scholarship

Lancaster University is dedicated to providing people looking for safety and security with all the benefits that come with a college degree. Students who are not eligible to receive statutory student financial support from Student Finance England (Wales or Northern Ireland) or the Student Awards Agency for Scotland but are seeking asylum in the UK are eligible to apply for our Sanctuary Scholarships. Each year there are only a certain amount of Sanctuary Scholarships available.

Among the scholarships are:

• Free housing on campus
• 100% tuition discount up until the point at which you are granted a status in the UK that enables you to submit an application for funding to the Student Awards Agency for Scotland or Student Finance England (Wales or Northern Ireland).
• Living expenses may be supported up to £5,000 a year; this money is non-refundable until you are granted a status in the UK that enables you to seek funding from the Student Awards Agency for Scotland or Student Finance England for Wales or Northern Ireland.

• You must have an undergraduate or graduate degree from Lancaster University, obtained at any time, including one from an affiliated institution, in order to be eligible for the Alumni Loyalty Scholarship.
• The prize is also open to alumni who earned an undergraduate or graduate degree that included a study abroad program at Lancaster University.

3. Lancaster Scholarship

• Entries for the Lancaster Scholarship will be accepted from all full-time UK applicants who pay their home fees.
• Recipients must earn at least five GCSE grades of A/7 or higher, and AAA and above at A level (or the equivalent in an alternative qualification).

4. Lancaster Opportunity Scholarship

• UK (Home) fee-paying applicants who participate in our Contextual Offer Scheme, Medicine Contextual Offer Scheme, or who successfully finish the Lancaster Access Program or Realizing Opportunities program are eligible to apply for the Lancaster Opportunity Scholarship.
