According to data released by UCAS on January 30, 2020, the overall acceptance rate for King's College London is between 12.2% and 13%. Additionally, King's College London enrolls more than 33,000 students annually from more than 150 different nations, making King's a particularly competitive university in terms of overall admission rate.
Admission Eligibility Criteria
- A total score of 65% is necessary for overseas students (High school GPA)
- Candidates for a bachelor's degree must have completed high school with a passing grade in order to apply to the university.
- A bachelor's degree with passing grades that satisfy the university requirement is necessary for candidates for the master's degree.
- The required English proficiency test scores and additional entrance exam scores are listed below.

Although some of our highly competitive postgraduate teaching programmes operate a "gathered field" approach for applicants who match the advertised entry standards, it may take longer. King's attempts to make judgments on applications within 4–8 weeks. The main aspects focused upon are the student's previous academic performance and overall achievements.
Tips for Applying to the University
- Postgraduate applicants must submit an application directly to the university, while prospective undergraduate students can apply via UCAS before January 26.
- Undergraduates must pay a 20 GBP application fee to King's College London, while postgraduate applicants must pay a 70-100 GBP charge while applying online (non-refundable).
Application Deadline
The conventional application deadline is 26th January of each year, but if you're enrolling on the medical or dental programmes, the deadline is 15 October the year before you plan to enroll.
