The founding of Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) occurred in 1891. When the institution was first founded as an institution of science and art, it grew and, in 1963, changed its name to the High Wycombe College of Art and Technology. Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College was the new name once it was given university college status in 1999. The university's name was changed to Buckinghamshire New University in 2007.
Their campuses are located in Aylesbury Vale, Uxbridge, West London, and High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. In addition, BNU maintains a location at Pinewood Studios and offers courses at Missenden Abbey in Great Missenden. Students can expect to find a well-equipped environment to study and reach their potential in 2023, with a £19 million investment being made in their campuses, facilities, and technologies.
The university provides excellent undergraduate and graduate programs in a variety of subjects, including psychology, nursing, aviation, art and design, business, and creative media. All programs are professionally driven. In addition to benefiting from a variety of specially designed facilities for various academic areas, students can take advantage of the university's industry links to obtain practical experience and expand their knowledge and abilities to be prepared for the workforce after they graduate.
