How the university evaluates applicants
Candidates from India may be eligible for direct entry into college programs if they meet the basic requirements. The State Board entrance requirements range between 60 and 80%. Additionally, Birkbeck encourages applications from students without typical capabilities and welcomes students from all educational backgrounds. Past performance is also considered.
Tips for applying to the university
- The online application form can be filled out by creating an account on the university portal or the UCAS website.
- Transcripts of the student's grades from secondary, graduation, entrance exams and university exams should be uploaded directly through the relevant organization.
- Students should get transcripts assessed by recognized organizations.
- Send in your English language test results.
- Provide any more required paperwork.
- Submit and pay application fees (20 GBP for one course/ 25 GBP for two or more courses) and keep the receipt safe for further processing.
