Located in Stuttgart, Germany, the University of Stuttgart is a renowned research university. It has ten faculties and was established in 1829. Among its various programs are civil, mechanical, industrial, and electrical engineering. It is one of Germany's oldest technical universities. It is a part of TU9, a society made up of the biggest and most prestigious technical institutes in Germany. The institution is particularly well-known for its standing in the domains of activity-based costing, process engineering, advanced automotive engineering, efficient industrial and automated manufacturing, and aerospace engineering.
The Karlsschule served as Stuttgart's first university from 1770 to 1794. With the exception of a few cooperative endeavors, the University of Hohenheim, which is situated in Stuttgart-Hohenheim, has been independent of the University of Stuttgart since 1818.
