History of University of Munster
In the year 1631, Pope Urban VIII along with Ferdinand II established the University of Munster. However, there was a lack of funding and the university started its operations in the year 1780. University of Munster started with education in law, medicine, theology, and philosophy.
In the year 1843, the university was renamed a royal theological academy, informally known as Munster Academy. The constitution ceremony was started by Franz Freiherr von Fürstenberg. Today, it is a full-fledged university with 44,000 students.
About Education at University of Munster
International and domestic students are allowed to study programs in all subjects in undergraduate courses in a two-cycle double bachelor’s teaching degree program. University of Munster Requirements for Examination
There are 27 programs that are taught in the English language at The University of Munster. For admission to English language courses, you need to submit English language proficiency test scores. The test scores of IELTS and TOEFL, LCCI-Certificate English for Business are accepted. For German language courses, you need to be proficient in the German language. The level should be DSH- 2 level. For medicine and dentistry, the level is DH3. These programs do not need the German language, as they are taught in the English language.
