2. Undergraduate scholarship standing is determined by having completed at least 30 credit hours, or comparable load hours, as documented in the university's Student Information System, and maintaining a 75% average for the preceding scholarship year. 
3. For scholarship reasons, a grade point average of 3.5 out of 4.0 from the preceding scholarship year is considered first-class status.
4. Undergraduate scholarships will be available to students who transfer to Memorial University of Newfoundland from Canadian universities or colleges that are members of Universities Canada and who meet the requirements of Memorial University of Newfoundland's scholarship standing. The scholarship will be awarded to the student in the year of the transfer.
