Accredited by the Alberta Post-secondary Learning Act, Concordia University of Edmonton is an autonomous academic school in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, that receives public funding. Undergraduate degrees in the arts, sciences, and management are available at Concordia, along with graduate degrees in psychology, education, information technology, and information security. In addition to receiving about one-third of its funding from the Alberta government as of 2022, Concordia is principally supported by tuition and individual gifts.
The university is divided into two schools and five faculties: the School of Music and Physical Education and Wellness, the Faculty of Management, the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Graduate Studies, and the Faculty of Arts. In the areas of arts, science, and management, the university offers 45 majors and minors in addition to two post-degree programs, three master's degrees, and a number of graduate certificates and diplomas. From 2012 to 2015, the University of Lethbridge operated a modest extension campus at the university. On university property are also Bright Horizons Childcare and Concordia Lutheran Seminary.
