• Essential RISD, the Suite Experience, and the Apartment Experience are the three types of on-campus accommodation available to RISD students.
• Internet access, washers and dryers, a common area, keycard entrance locks, closets, lamps, and desks are standard in all rooms. Each room type (single, double, and shared) has its own unique set of features.

Criteria for Acceptance: 

• Certificates of Completion from High Schools and Colleges
• Results from an English Proficiency Exam
• Ten to twelve samples of their work will be provided as a portfolio via Slideroom.
• A 650-word personal statement
• Undergraduate programs require a minimum of one letter of recommendation.
• Graduate schools often require three recommendation letters.
• A grade point average of 3.0 is required for admission to graduate school.
• An objective statement of no more than 750 words

Please note that beginning with 2021 applications, the school will no longer need standardized test scores for admission.
