The Northwood University is a private institute in Midland, Michigan, known for its industry-oriented curriculum and emphasis on Business Studies. The DeVos Graduate School also provides a Doctorate program and 8 unique Master's programs, including an Evening MBA and a 12-month Accelerated MBA. The university has distinguished alumni in diverse fields. Northwood alumni, American businessman, and novelist Richard Marvin DeVos Jr. campaigned for Governor of Michigan in 2006. Northwood alumni Rina Harun, a politician from Malaysia, held the position of Minister of Women, Family, and Community Development under the Barisan Nasional government for two terms. Ana Brnabic, a Serbian politician who has been the country's Prime Minister since 2017, also attended Northwood University. She holds the position as the first female to do so.
