SACSCOC (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges) has accredited Loyola University New Orleans., to award baccalaureate, associate, masters and doctoral degree. Accreditation by SACSCOC means that the mission of the university is appropriate to higher education, and that the university has resources, services and programs sufficient to sustain and accomplish that mission. It also means that the specified educational objectives are maintained, and consistent with the university’s mission, and it must be appropriate to the degree that is being offered.
