Wrexham Glyndwr University in the UK is a higher education corporation in Wales and was founded in 1887. It was earlier known as Glyndwr University, and in 2016 it was renamed to its current name. The institution is named after Owain Glyndwr, a medieval Welsh prince who proposed the formation of universities across Wales in the early 15th century. Being a member of the University of Wales since 2004, it was given full university status in 2008.

Northop Campus
The University took over the Welsh College of Horticulture’s higher education provision at Northop, Flintshire, in 2008 and currently has a comprehensive campus on 96 acres of agricultural land in Northop. There is specialized student housing with shared amenities such as a common room with an outdoor area with BBQ, a pool table, TV, dartboard, etc.
Wrexham Campus
The University owns two sites in Wrexham, the Regent-street site, where the (NWSAD) North Wales School of Arts and Design is located, and the Plas Coch site, which covers 93 acres of land. The campus has sports centers, laboratories, conference suites, seminar suites, learning resource facilities, the Glyndwr University Racecourse Stadium, the Terry Hands studio, a human performance lab, etc.
St. Asaph Campus
