The admission dates are usually in January, June, and September each year. The University of Northampton’s admission process involves the following:

1. You can apply through a local representative.

The University of Northampton’s admission requirements include the following:

1. English language proficiency (IELTS 6.0-6.5 for bachelor’s and master’s programs or equivalent).

Extra-curriculars & Diversity

The University offers a warm and welcoming environment for international students with all necessary assistance and support. It offers employability and placement options along with a dedicated support team, laptops for all students, subscriptions, and free access to numerous sports clubs and societies on campus. Students also get discounts and gymnasium packages along with free field trips.

Career/Professional

The University is known for its global reputation in terms of innovation and employability-oriented program. The Careers and Employability team helps students in continually adapting to changing professional requirements. The Changemaker Incubator program also helps students in developing various skill-sets that greatly enhance their employability. The Employability Plus Award is ideal for boosting student resumes while pupils also get access to personalized and flexible career guidance and support in tandem with access to practice interviews, industry events, webinars, self-assessment resources, CV feedback, and more. The latest job vacancies and Unitemps are advertised every month while students get access to insights from Careers Development Consultants and other guest lecturers. All alumni have lifelong support with their careers while accessing the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services which helps in coming up with quality standards for employability.

Students can continue working while pursuing their courses. They can double up as student ambassadors for remuneration and also develop vital skills in the bargain. The in-house recruitment agency named Unitemps helps students find part-time jobs in and around the campus along with other local enterprises. Students can also get work-based learning and placements with most courses. They can thus go on placements with several companies in diverse sectors. They also get help with skill development including access to LinkedIn Learning. If students cannot find employment within 12 months after graduation, the university guarantees a three to six-month paid internship or support for postgraduate education. The University has its Global Employability Initiative which is a part of its attempt towards building industry connections and offering more employable, talented, and digitally skilled graduates of the future to employers.

Financial

The tuition fees usually depend on the study program and mode. Students may have to finish their English language course or foundation program before enrolment. If students get their offer letters, a deposit of £5,000 (INR 50,000) is needed and will be required for every study year. It will be deducted from the total tuition costs each year as well.

Undergraduate students usually have to pay between £14-16,900 (INR 14-16.9 lakh) per year while postgraduate students have to pay approximately £15,000-16,000 (INR 15-16 lakh) per year.
