Bachelor of Software Engineering in Arts and Science at McGill University

MINIMUM A, 4.00 GPA, or equivalent unweighted average over last two years of full-time studies, and a minimum score of 730 in each SAT or minimum composite score of 33 in the ACT test and/or rank in top 1% of class.

Note: The SAT/ACT opt-out policy has been extended to students applying for Fall 2025 undergraduate studies in certain programs. For those students who do submit scores, they will be considered as part of their scholarship application. For those who do not, scholarship consideration will be based on grades, credit count, AP results, university-level courses, level of program challenger and any other factors deemed relevant by the scholarship office.

MINIMUM of 4 A-Level/CAPE/Pre-U subjects with predicted or final grades of A*A*A*A (or equivalent), plus AS (if written) and GCSE/IGCSE/O-Level results also with A grades.

Exception: MINIMUM of AAAA on predicted or final results when the Exam Board does not award the grade of A* (Caribbean CAPE, Scottish Advanced/Highers, Singapore A-Levels).
