University of the Sunshine Coast: Rankings, Courses & Admissions

The University of the Sunshine Coast is a public institution at Sippy Downs in Queensland, Australia. It is a university offering top-class education and research infrastructure. The university is ranked at 501-600th in the Times Higher Education World Rankings list for 2024. The first campus started in 1996 on the Sunshine Coast. 

The University currently has five campuses throughout the southeastern part of Queensland. It has 18,275 students and 30,625 graduates while having conferred 33,700 awards to date. There are 1,667 students across 72 countries as well. The acceptance rate of the Sunshine Coast is 66%. 

The institution has Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay, Gympie, Fraser Coast, and Caboolture campuses. It has several research centers, including the Thompson Institute, Sunshine Coast Health Institute, K’gari Research and Learning Centre. 

There are 120+ educational programs available for students. Some study disciplines include business, tourism, events communication, environmental studies, education, design and creative industries, law and criminology, IT and engineering, health sciences, psychology, and more.
