Graduate Diploma of Professional Accounting at University of Tasmania (UTAS)

The Graduate Diploma of Finance is designed to facilitate the acquisition of life-long financial knowledge and skills through sharing and building on the diverse experiences of all stakeholders within the course. It fosters empowerment and personal responsibility by encouraging students to challenge the conventional paradigms in finance.

The Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning is designed for new entrants and experienced financial planners who provide standard financial or para-planning services. This course explores important steps in the financial planning process such as gathering qualitative and quantitative data, identifying goals, and recognising financial problems. Key assessments will test your ability to apply financial planning theory to develop strategies and address financial challenges. You will also develop a range of skills and knowledge associated with providing compliant financial advice to clients across different types of financial products.

The Master of Accounting Practice is for accounting graduates who would like to extend their knowledge in key areas of professional accounting and, at the same time, progress toward full membership of CPA Australia. The Master of Accounting Practice includes a program of tuition and support for the CPA Program examinations. Students will be enrolled concurrently in the Master of Accounting Practice and the CPA Program with CPA Australia during the course of their studies.
