Exams Required for Admission at the University of Canberra 

Each university has its own set of exams that students must take to be eligible for admission. You will have to give an English language proficiency test and other tests as per the course requirements you are applying for. At the University of Canberra, international students will have to give the Genuine Temporary Entrant as part of their student visa application. There are four different tests accepted to prove English language proficiency-

Admission requirements 

 The admission process is highly competitive, and the University of Canberra's acceptance rate is around 41%. Eligibility is subject to the course, and the country the student is from. However, there are different admission requirements as set by the university for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses- 

Undergraduate courses 

Students applying in UG courses should have completed their 12th from any of these boards with the mentioned minimum qualifications to be eligible for admission- 

1. Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination- Minimum 65% average marks (should include English and other three best elective subjects). 

2. Central Board of Secondary Education- Minimum 65% overall in the four best externally examined subjects

3. All India Senior School Certificate- Overall grade 10 in four best externally examined subjects.  

Postgraduate Admissions 

If you have the following non-tertiary qualifications along with job experience or any professional membership, the University of Canberra will consider your degree for entry in the postgraduate course. It will include-  

1. Having a professional qualification or any diploma or associate degree and four-plus years of full-time work experience. 

2. Completing the diploma with eight years of paid administrative or work experience (paid).
