What is Unmanned Aircraft

Go back

Unmanned aircraft, often referred to as drones or UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), are aircraft that operate without a human pilot on board. They can be controlled remotely by human operators or autonomously through onboard computers and sensors. Drones serve a wide range of purposes, from recreational and commercial activities like aerial photography and surveillance to applications in industries such as agriculture, infrastructure inspection, search and rescue, and military operations. These aircraft come in various sizes and configurations, from small consumer quadcopters to large, sophisticated, and long-endurance military drones.
