Benefits
The scholarship covers tuition costs, and gives an annual stipend for living costs. This stood at £15,609 for 2021-22 and is sanctioned as per UKRI funding levels. There is also coverage for research expenditure and a return flight from/to India. Accommodation may be available at the Wills Hall of the institution only for the first study year. The living stipend will be lowered if this option is chosen.

Important Dates (timeline)
The nomination forms should be sent by the tutors and directors by the midday of April 19. This was the deadline for the last batch of applications in 2022.
Selection
The faculty PGR (postgraduate research) directors will be short-listing their top three aspirants and send the same to the Student Funding Office. The successful aspirants will be finally chosen by the Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor with two of his/her colleagues. One application for each applicant is allowed, with the selection decision of the Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor being final. Successful applicants will be informed and advised by the Student Funding Office in May (it was May 24, 2022 for the previous batch).
