- Architecture, dentistry, and medicine applicants are not eligible.
- If students have not obtained their final scores, they can still apply for the scholarship. Their academic merit will be evaluated based on their last examination scores.
Note: Those who have completed studies at higher institutions in the UK are not eligible.

University of Manchester Postgraduate Scholarships
The University of Manchester offers more than 100 post-graduate scholarships to outstanding Indian students. The value of these scholarships is £8,000 in the form of a discount on tuition fees. Students will be selected based on academic performance and the responses given in the application form.

- Applicants must have a domicile in India.
- Applicants should be self-funded and not sponsored by external parties.

- Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Scholarship: This scholarship offers financial assistance to economically deprived students from Maharashtra who wish to pursue diploma, degree, or postgraduate programs through the CAP (centralized admission process) at universities in the UK. The scholarship covers 50% of tuition fees and 50% of exam fees.
- National Overseas Scholarship Scheme- The scheme offers financial assistance to selected candidates from scheduled castes and tribes to pursue their PhD/master's programs at UK universities. The total annual family income of applicants should not cross Rs. 8 lakh. The benefits include full tuition fee coverage, a maintenance allowance (annual), contingency allowance, visa fees, medical insurance premium, incidental journey allowance, equipment allowance, and air travel.
Apart from these, students can also look out for various subject-specific scholarships, such as Engineering the Future Scholarships. This provides full-tuition fee discounts of around £36,500 to those selected for master’s courses at the university’s Faculty of Science and Engineering. Similarly, the Manchester Humanities International Excellence Scholarship supports students starting master’s courses at the university’s Faculty of Humanities.
