TS EAMCET Exam- An Overview

The TS EAMCET is held every year for intermediate students. After qualifying for the exam, students can opt for various courses in engineering, agriculture, and medical fields like BTech, BPharma, etc. The TS EAMCET exam 2024 will tentatively be conducted in May 2024, and the results will be declared in June 2024.

Candidates who want to apply for the TS EAMCET Exam 2024 must fulfill all the eligibility criteria. Students who fail to meet these criteria will not be allowed to appear for the test. Any misinformation regarding eligibility can also lead to disqualification. Here is a list of criteria students must fulfill to register for the TS EAMCET exam- 

General Eligibility

• The candidate must be a citizen of India. A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder can also apply.
• Candidates must belong to Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
• For most courses, candidates must be 16 years of age as of December 31 of the admission year. 
• For courses like BTech in Dairy Technology or Food Technology, the candidate must be 17 years of age. The upper age limit for general category candidates is 22 years, and for reserved category applicants is 25 years.

Education Qualification

• Candidates must have completed 10+2 with PCM/PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology) from a recognized institution or board.
• Candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in the relevant subjects; 40% minimum marks for reserved category applicants.
• Candidates in the final year of their Diploma in Engineering can also apply.

TS EAMCET Exam- Admission Process

Here is the complete procedure to apply for the TS EAMCET Exam 2024-

1. Visit the TS EAMCET Official Website - https://eamcet.tsche.ac.in/
2. Fee Payment- Proceed to payment options to pay exam fees online through net banking, credit/debit card, etc.
3. Online application- Find the application form link and read all the instructions carefully
4. Fill in the details- Insert all the required information like name, age, sex, contact details, etc. Then, provide all the educational information like marks secured, year of passing, board, etc.
5. Choose Exam Centre- Pick your preferred option from the available choices
6. Upload Supporting Documents- Upload scanned copies of documents as specified by the Telangana EAMCET exam authorities. These documents may include your relevant certificates, photographs, SC/ST/PH certificate (only for reserved candidates), etc.
7. Review Application- Thoroughly check all the details and press submit.
8. Take Printout- After submission, print the application form and payment receipt for future reference.

TS EAMCET 2024 Result

The result for the TS EAMCET exam 2024 will be announced on the official website of JNTU Hyderabad. The result will display the names of all the candidates and their corresponding marks and rankings.

The candidates have to secure the minimum marks to qualify EAMCET exam. The minimum qualifying mark is 25%. Additionally, it must be noted that there is no qualifying mark for reserved category candidates.

Applicants can check their results by inserting their registration number, hall ticket number, and date of birth in the login screen. The candidates will be shortlisted based on their rankings and will proceed with the counseling conducted by TSCHE.

TS EAMCET 2024 Counselling

A student counseling program is conducted by TSCHE after the results for TS EAMCET are declared. All selected students will be guided through the seat allotment and admission procedure, fee structures, etc.

Qualifying students have to sign up on the website and pick the institutes they like in the order of preference. Seat allotment will happen according to the rankings. Selected students will have to pay the admission fees and report at the allotted institute.

The candidates must also carry all the original documents to all institutes for verification. The documents will be returned to them, but they have to provide a set of photocopies for the same.
