A student visa for Singapore will be required to study in Singapore after you get the offer letter from your chosen university or institution for any specific course or program. Students will thereafter require the Student Pass for entering the country. Educational institutions in the country will be filing their student pass applications on behalf of students to the ICA or Immigration and Checkpoint Authority of Singapore. Application submissions take place via the SOLAR (Student’s Pass On-Line Application and Registration) system. New applications for passes must be submitted a minimum of one month and not more than a couple of months before the beginning of the course.
