Definitely, you can crack NMAT within a month’s span if you dedicatedly follow a proper preparation plan. Concentrate on comprehending the format of the examination as well as the time allocated for each segment. Prepare a timetable for your review, focus on the problematic topics/subjects, and make a point to use NMAT review materials. The likelihood of success lies in daily practice, predicting the time and taking the mock tests under the examination conditions.
Is NMAT tougher than CAT?
The NMAT and CAT are both competitive entrance exams for MBA programs in India, but they have distinct differences. CAT is considered tougher due to the unpredictable nature of its question patterns. On the other hand, NMAT is considered more flexible, allowing test-takers to select their preferred order of sections and to retake the test multiple times within the same admission cycle. CAT includes negative markings for incorrect answers. In contrast, NMAT does not have negative markings, making the exam easier.
Is NMAT 200 score good?
A score of 200 on the NMAT is considered likely okay but not very effective, depending on the program and the institution. For instance, the cutoff for the NMIMS Mumbai for MBA courses in 2023 was about 220 on average. Thus, achieving a score of 200 would mean that the candidate would meet the minimum cutoff. At the same time, the school recognizes that competition is stiff, so they should consider other aspects such as written assessments, case study deliberations, number of candidates appearing and interviews.
