  • Based on the Medical Council of Mauritius ' scale, students should have passed any three subjects at the A level or equivalent in science with at least 21 points. A+ equals 90-100 marks and 10 points, while A equals 80-89 marks and 9 points as per this scale. 
  • Other qualifications include the 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination or Indian School Certificate Examination, studying Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Mathematics in English
  • Alternatively, applicants may be in the first year of a three-year degree course at a recognized university with Biology, Physics, and Chemistry, including practical tests in all three subjects. The candidate should have cleared 10+2 with English at a core course level. This can be the B.Sc examination of a university in India, provided that candidates pass at least two out of Chemistry, Physics, and Biology (Zoology and Botany). 
  • Applicants should have O-level English credit while passing the General Paper at the AS level. Alternatively, IELTS 7 or TOEFL 550 (PBT) and 79 (iBT) are accepted. 

The eligibility criteria for MD/MS programs include the following requirements: 

  • Graduation in Medicine
  • Internship
  • Valid registration with the medical council in the respective native country.
