MBBS in Nepal: Eligibility Criteria

All aspiring students studying MBBS in Nepal must meet the eligibility criteria for admission. Here’s a quick rundown of the Nepalese universities' common eligibility criteria.

  1. All aspiring students must have cleared 10+2 from a recognized board.
  2. Students must have scored a minimum of 50% in Physics, Biology, and Chemistry
  3. They should have cleared NEET UG/SAT.

MBBS in Nepal: Scholarships

The government of Nepal decides on the scholarship for MBBS. The government announces the number of seats open for scholarships each year. The scholarship seats are later divided among the different universities and colleges.  

All private medical colleges must reserve a certain proportion of their annual student intake (10% for Nepali-owned institutions, 20% for foreign-owned institutions) free of cost for scholarship awardees selected by the Ministry of Education (MoE).
