Eligibility Criteria for MBBS at UCL

Here are the eligibility criteria for doing an MBBS in UCL. 

  • Those applying for medicine should take the BMAT (BioMedical Admissions Test). 
  • The English language level for the program is Level 4. Students have equivalent English-language scores/qualifications. 
  • For A-Levels, A*AA grades are required with Biology and Chemistry (either at grade A*). For GCSEs (General Certificate of Secondary Education), there should be English Language and Mathematics at Grade B or 6. 
  • There are varying degree-specific requirements although Indian students will require the completion of one year of a bachelor degree at an Indian university with UCL recognition. The average grade should be equivalent to UK Upper Second Class. Alternatively, the Year 12/Standard 12 from ICSE/CBSE should have five subjects at 90, 85, 85, 85, 85.
