The National University of Ireland gives the Max Arthur Macauliffe Special Merit Scholarship-NUI in Galway. The Max Arthur Macauliffe Special Merit Scholarship-NUI for Indian students ensures that deserving aspirants get exposure to the most innovative, acknowledged and helpful programs and pedagogies in their selected study fields. 

Eligibility 

The Max Arthur Macauliffe Special Merit Scholarship-NUI eligibility criteria include the following: 

  • Candidates should be Indian citizens. 
  • Those in master’s programs at NUI Galway will have eligibility to apply for this scholarship. 
  • There are three scholarships provided every year. 

Benefits 

The scholarship offers up to 100% waivers on tuition fees.

How to Apply? 

How to apply for the Max Arthur Macauliffe Special Merit Scholarship-NUI? You should apply for admission at NUI and then complete the scholarship application form. There should be a personal statement submission by applicants as well. This should be emailed to InternationalMarketingRecruitment@nuigalway.ie. It should also have the title of the scholarship program applied for by the aspirant in the subject, and the PAC application number as well. Students will get their confirmation e-receipts within ten days of submitting their scholarship applications. 

Documents Required 

Aspirants will have to submit a personal statement which should cover the reasons for studying at the institution, how the relationship with the institution will develop in the days to come, and how the aspirant will be promoting connections with NUI Galway throughout the duration of their scholarship and as future alumni. 

Important Dates (timeline) 

The usual application deadline is in March.

Selection 

The selection of eligible candidates takes place on the basis of their academic credentials and personal statements. Every application is verified to make sure that the aspirant has applied for a student visa in Ireland.
