Eligibility for Booking IELTS One Skill Retake

Here is a quick rundown of the conditions under which you can apply for the exam. 

  • You can schedule an IELTS One Skill Retake if you have recently completed the IELTS computer exam. Applicants who have attempted IELTS on paper are not eligible for this exam. 
  • Your results must be received from a testing facility that administers the IELTS One Skill Retake. 
  • IELTS One Skill Retakes must be taken 60 days post the original test date. 

How Can You Apply for IELTS One Skill Retake

Apply for an IELTS One Skill Retake following the steps below.

  • Access your test results by logging in to the Test Taker Portal. 
  • Select the section you want to retake the test by clicking the "Retake" button.
  • Choose your IELTS One Skill Retake date and book a desired session.
  • To finalize your booking and payment, recheck your information and click "complete your booking."
  • You'll get an email confirming the successful processing of your payment. Additionally, under "Tests and Results" on the Test Taker Portal, you may access your updated booking information.

IELTS One Skill Retake for Australia Results

Your IELTS One Skill Retake score will be included on a new IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) that you will receive. It also has an overall CEFR score and your initial test results. You can discover the original test date on your TRF, and your results will be valid for two years.

The IELTS One Skill Retake provides a detailed analysis of your performance in the selected module. Instead of an overall band score, you receive a band score specifically for the retaken skill. This targeted scoring system allows universities to assess your language proficiency more precisely, ensuring that you meet the specific requirements of your chosen program.

After completing your IELTS One Skill Retake, expect your result to arrive in 13 business days. It will be sent to your email. You can also check it on your IELTS Test Taker Portal account. Here’s a detailed breakdown of test timelines:
