Prospective students need to follow the given steps to study at Hasselt University:

• Students have to start by pre-registering for their preferred course at https://voorinschrijving.uhasselt.be/. You will also be required to choose a study contract- exam, diploma, and credit contract. 
• In the next step, you will be asked to upload the required documents for verification. Some of these include your passport/ID, resume, secondary/high school certificate/diploma, English language proficiency certificate, recommendation letters, higher education transcripts, letter of motivation, and so on. 
• You can also apply for a scholarship if required by completing a form. 
• Once your documents have been verified, the Admission Committee's final decision will be sent to you via mail. 
• If you are selected, you will receive a letter of admission. Then, you can proceed to complete enrollment by paying tuition fees as instructed by the university. This needs to be done at least one month before you arrive in Belgium. 
• After successfully paying the tuition fees, you can complete your registration process and enroll at the university.
