Dresden University of Technology Requirements for Examination
English language proficiency test: Applicants need to take the English language proficiency test in a non-native English-speaking country.
Technical University Dresden expects students to have excellent command over the English language if they enroll in English language courses and programs.
IELTS and TOEFL are only accepted for the English language proficiency test.
Students need to have a level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for the English language proficiency test.
TOEFL-IBT minimum score 90 with minimum scores of 21 for writing, 21 for listening, 22 for reading, and 23 for speaking.
Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English: 176 overall, no less than 169 in any element. IELTS overall score 6.5 and nothing less than 6.0 in any section.
German language proficiency test: The minimum requirement for an application to the preparatory German course is the provision of a German B1 certificate along with a certificate of participation in a B2 course.
Applicants for the preparatory college also have to submit a German B1 certificate with their application.
