The deadline for applications (semester 1 or the full year) is 31st May.

Applications for autumn postgraduate programs will open on 19th October and the deadline is August 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for Autumn Intake in Ireland 

Here are the average eligibility criteria for autumn intake courses in Ireland. 

  • Undergraduate applicants require 70% or higher in their class XII examinations or a corresponding qualification. Another option may be an Irish/UK Higher National Diploma (HND) with distinctions and merits or a recognized International Foundation course from a UK/Irish institution or an Indian institution with 60-65% required. 
  • Postgraduate applicants should have bachelor's degrees with varying course/grade requirements. 
  • English language proficiency is required, depending on the institutional guidelines.

  • Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship- This is awarded to 60 students every year. It comes with a full fee waiver and €10,000. 
  • Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Program- It is funded by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science. It comes with a stipend of €19,000 per year and a contribution to fees up to a maximum of €5,750 per year. There is also coverage for eligible direct research expenditure of €3,250 per year. 
  • University of Galway International Scholarship- This is given to meritorious international applicants and comes with a reduction of €2,000 for the first year of undergraduate study. 
  • Dublin Business School Partial Scholarship- This is granted to students coming onto Level 8 and Level 9 programs. €500 - €1000 is awarded under this program. 
  • Maynooth University International Office Scholarships- €2000 per year is granted under the undergraduate scholarship at the institution. €2500 is also granted per year under the taught postgraduate scholarship program.
