British Columbia (BC), on October 12, invited over 400 skilled workers, international graduates, and immigrant entrepreneurs as part of its new draw for its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). With this draw, the province has so far issued around 10,000 invitations for PNP since the beginning of 2021.
In this draw, candidates from EEBC (Express Entry BC) and SI (Skilled Immigration) streams of BC PNP (British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program) received invitations.
More specifically, the following subcategories of the two above-mentioned streams received the invites:
- SW (Skilled Worker)
- IG (International Graduate)
- Entry-level and Semi-skilled
The scores for the draw ranged between 69 and 91. A total of 308 candidates were sent an invite under it.
Another draw was conducted under the categories EEBC and SI on the same day and 101 invitations were sent to candidates with 104 scores. All the candidates belonged to NOC 0621 (retail and wholesale trade managers) or NOC 0631 (restaurant and foodservice managers) professional groups.

British Columbia also sent invitations to 10 candidates belonging to EI-base (Entrepreneur Immigration) and less than five candidates in the EI regional pilot categories for the first time since August.
